The sun shone into the windows causing Sandy to stir from her sleep. Grouchily, she woke up and rubbed her eyes hopping to rub out the sleepiness in her.
With a cheerful voice, Sandy's grandmother entered her room.
"Wakey, wakey! It's another beautiful morning." chirped her grandmother.
"Go away!" snapped Sandy. She did not feel the same cheerfulness as her grandmother. She wanted to continue to sleep. She did not want to wake up at all. She wished to continue to sleep and dream about the wonderful time she was having with her friends.
"Come one, Sandy. Don't be such a grouch. Go get yourself ready for breafast. Grandpa's going to the park later." Grandmother ignored Sandy's lack of enthusiam.
"Whatever..." Sandy replied. She might not want to wake up but when she heard that Grandpa was going to the park, she perked up a little. Sandy loved to go to the park. She enjoys playing in the children's playground and most importantly there are children there to play with.
Sandy stays with Grandpa and Grandmother on weekdays while her parents are at work. Her parents willcome pick her up on Saturday afternoons and she will spend the rest of the weekends with them, provided they do not have functions, which children are not invited, to attend.
